Hiding? Meet your Confidence Booster.

God called the judges and kings who ruled Israel, and they took care of business for the nation.  However, when God chose Gideon, He knew He called a person with very low self-esteem.  Gideon felt he was the least of the least.  With that in mind, God patiently talked with him several times and gave him signs to build his confidence that he was indeed the right person for the job. (Judges 6-7)

We are not clones. We all walk with Christ at different paces in different spaces. Some are ahead of others; some are lagging. Embrace our differences. They may have their strengths; remember, we have areas of expertise, as well!  God ain’t mad at us if we think we have low self-worth and frequently hesitate to move forward. We can love ourselves just like we are.  Don’t discount the greatness within.  Trust in the amazing abilities we have received from the Divine.  We must try to see ourselves the way God sees us and not measure our accomplishments by others.  Forget the measuring stick of success!  God understands the back story, where our head has been, and even now.  Don't give up. He is showing us that we already have what it takes within us. Believe. Trust God for the next step. We cannot be afraid. He loves us just the way we are...right where we are.  He is holding our hands and patiently working with us because the best season of our life is right now!
